Campus-wide Mathematica License

Installation and activation procedure for campus computers:

1.Get installation media - Site Administrator, Sharon Collins, currently provides the media.
We are working on making the ISOs downloadable. Until this happens, please get media from Sharon (matsdc@langate.gsu.edu)

2. Install Mathematica from the media. During the installation process, the installer asks some brief questions.
The first is to choose between Single Machine, or Network install. If it is a Single Machine install, choose Single
Machine. If it is a Network install choose Network. Generally you would choose Single Machine.The next
interactions is for the user to fill in their own Name, Organization (Georgia State University), and License
Number (L3050-2406) Click OK and there will be a MathID generated. Please make a note of this number.
Click the WEB button next to the MathID? . This will take the user to register.wolfram.com. Please fill in
the requested information, and Wolfram will mail a password to the requester.

Home Computers

Instructions for home (off campus) computers.

For A New Home Use License

Please visit http://www.wolfram.com/siteinfo/homeuse/
Enter the main license number first L3050-2406, then choose the radio
button "A New home-use license", then continue. Next enter your contact
information. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click submit.

For an Upgrade to an Existing License ;

Please visit http://www.wolfram.com/siteinfo/homeuse/
Enter the main license number first L3050-2406, then choose the radio
button "An upgrade for an existing home-use license", then continue.
Then enter your license number L###-###, choose Download , or CD, your
Platform, and if you want Workbench. Then click continue. On the next
page please enter the Contact information, Work address, and Home
Address, And Proof of Eligibility information.

For a Password Extension to an Existing License

Please visit http://www.wolfram.com/siteinfo/homeuse/
Enter the main license number first L3050-2406, then choose the radio
button "A password extension for an existing home-use license", then
continue. Next enter your license number L####-####, and the contact
information. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click submit.
